The Role
The school is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to work part-time within a strong and well-organised Key Stage 1 team. As part of a three-form entry structure you will benefit from shared planning established schemes of work and the support of experienced colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress to ensure all learners achieve their potential.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Key Stage to plan and share best practice.
- Creating a positive inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers to support childrens learning and development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) no ECTs for this post.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 ideally in Year 1 or Year 2.
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- A commitment to high standards of teaching learning and pupil progress.
