ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Digital Communications Intern to join our dynamic team in Brussels.
This is a unique opportunity for motivated students with a passion for digital content social media graphic design and creative communications to gain hands-on experience within the European healthcare sector.
As a Digital Communications Intern you will support the creation design and implementation of GIRPs digital communication strategies. Youll help shape our online presence engage stakeholders and promote our events and initiatives through innovative and impactful digital content.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Communications team in delivering impactful content and engagement across GIRPs digital platforms. Main tasks include:
- Support the development of GIRPs branding storytelling and digital campaigns for key events and initiatives including visual and written content.
- Assist in the creation scheduling and publishing of engaging content across GIRPs digital channels (website LinkedIn newsletters etc.).
- Design visual assets using tools such as Canva Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Contribute to the development of newsletters press releases and other communications materials.
- Updating and maintaining content on the GIRP website.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant communications marketing digital or graphic design academic programme (mandatory traineeship requirement).
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Canva/Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
- High attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Enthusiastic about social media and visual storytelling.
- EU national or EU visa handler.
Desirable Qualifications
- Prior experience in social media management or digital assets creation.
- Knowledge of motion design.
- Interest in healthcare policy or European affairs.
