Job Summary

Diagnostic Tech Team Lead - Dallas TX - Day & Night Shifts

Take the Next Step in Your Leadership Journey The Team Leader Diagnostic leads directs and supports a team of 35 professionals to deliver outstanding diagnostic services. You will oversee staffing including hiring training development and performance evaluation while also performing key technologist and support duties as needed. This role is responsible for planning and maintaining the QA and KVI programs as well as supervising and performing quality control testing of all diagnostic equipment and accessories.

Requirements:

Approved Training Program in Radiologic Technology
2 years minimum broad experience within the field of Radiology and/or other supervisory/management experience
Certifications: ARRT MRT CPR
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
Trauma and OR work experience a plus for OR position

Responsibilities:

Assist in development communication and implementation of department policies
Responsible for maintaining cost containment efforts and revenue generating measures
Assist the Director in meeting Departmental financial goals
Ensure operating practices and quality of services rendered meet the requirements set forth by various licensing the accrediting and regulatory agencies
Responsible to ensure full coverage by competent personnel during the operating hours
Assumes the duties of a Technologist when necessary
Ensure interviewing selection orientation evaluation promotions and termination of personnel fall within the guidelines of hospital & governmental licensing and regulatory agencies
Ensure equipment and supplies are available for the employees to carry out the functions of the department
Maintain interdepartmental & intradepartmental communications
Meets with Administrative and Medical Director to develop and implement new programs within the department
