Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry (Contract Role)

Location: Laconia NH 03246

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12-Hour Night 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $1980 - $2160; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary:

Registered Nurse in MedSurg/Telemetry providing direct patient care monitoring vitals and administering treatments. This is a 13-week contract in Laconia NH with 12-hour night shifts and competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg and Telemetry setting.
Monitor patient vitals ECG and telemetry readings.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care.
Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with facility policies.
Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.
Respond to changes in patient condition promptly and appropriately.
Ensure patient safety and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required Requirements:

Experience: Must have Advanced Telemetry experience.
Experience: 2 years of experience in an acute care setting and documentation of travel experience.
Licensure: Active NH or Compact RN license required with verification of active RN licenses.
Certifications: BLS ACLS and NIHSS certifications required.
EMR Experience: Experience with Cerner is preferred but not required.

Additional Info:

First-Time Travelers: Will accept first-time travel nurses with good experience.
Local pay rates will apply to candidates residing within 50 miles of Laconia NH 03246.
