Job Title: Lead Backend Engineer

Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Backend Engineer who is eager to take ownership drive innovation and establish best practices for our backend this role you will not only lead the technical direction but also introduce new standards processes and guidelines to elevate the engineering team. You will work closely with product managers and non-technical stakeholders translating business needs into scalable high-quality backend solutions.

Required Skills:

Minimum 10 years in backend development
2 years of experience leading a development team
Strong expertise in Java Spring and Spring Boot
Deep understanding of microservices architecture and best practices
Proficiency in MySQL and relational database design
Experience with AWS cloud services
Familiarity with Hibernate (preferred)
Knowledge of Docker Kubernetes and containerization (a plus)
Proven ability to design and implement scalable high-performance systems

Preferred skills:

Experience with Azure DevOps
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to event-driven architecture and Kafka

Work Site: Charlotte NC

Duration: 10 Months
