Fohntech Group are currently looking for a number of experienced Pipefitters to join their team in Tralee. This is a long term on going position offering an exciting opportunity to work on a leading-edge project.

Key Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting Isometric drawings and Mechanical Drawings specifications to determine the layout sequence and location of piping systems.
  
• Measuring and cutting pipes to the required length using hand and power tools such as saws pipe cutters and grinders.
  
• Assembling and fitting large bore pipe systems.
  
• Installing and connecting pipes and components according to the design specifications and safety standards.
  
• Complying with safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents injuries and damage to equipment.
  

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter.
  
• Experience in High Purity and SCH Carbon and Stainless Essential.
  
• Prefabrication and installation of large-bore pipe systems reading of isometric and mechanical drawings.
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
  
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  
• Necessary Visa required to work in Ireland if applicable.
