A warm and welcoming family in South Kensington is seeking an experienced Rota Nanny to care for their little boy born in 2023. The role begins on 1 December 2025 and follows a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule providing 24-hour care during the working week. This is a live-in position with a private bedroom and bathroom provided. The family is looking for a professional proactive and organised nanny with a strong record of longevity and ideally previous live-in or rota experience.
This is a shared care role working alongside both parents who are hands-on and involved. The family also has a 7-month-old baby with their own daily nanny and the rota nanny will care for the baby overnight as well as the toddler. Both children are in an excellent routine. The nanny will plan and carry out stimulating age-appropriate activities attend classes and encourage outdoor play and learning.
Excellent communication and teamwork are essential as the nanny will coordinate closely with the parents and the other rota nanny already in post. The role also includes travel with the family to destinations such as the USA and Europe. The nanny will handle all typical nursery duties including laundry meal preparation and maintaining tidy childrens areas.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with young children previous shared care and UHNW household experience and a flexible safety-conscious approach. Longevity in past roles (ideally four to five years in one position) is preferred. A driver would be an advantage but is not essential and there are no pets in the household.
