As a Data Processing Analyst / Specialist at Hobie you will play a critical role in managing and processing data to support various operational functions including manufacturing logistics sales and customer service. Your responsibilities will encompass data entry validation analysis and reporting ensuring that data is accurate accessible and actionable across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Validation: Accurately enter and validate operational data such as sales orders inventory levels vendor purchase orders and customer information into company systems.
Data Processing: Process and transform raw data into structured formats suitable for analysis and reporting ensuring consistency and reliability.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data sets to identify trends discrepancies and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales logistics and customer service to ensure data aligns with operational needs and supports decision-making processes.
Data Integrity & Security: Maintain data integrity and confidentiality by adhering to company policies and best practices for data management.
Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance data accuracy efficiency and accessibility.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Data Science Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data processing data entry or a related administrative role. Experience in the outdoor recreation or manufacturing industry is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data processing tools and software. Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
