Job Summary

Job Title: Commercial Landscape Maintenance Business DeveloperLocation: Houston TX Metro AreaReports To: Director of Sales / Branch ManagerEmployment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a driven relationship-oriented Business Developer to join our growing team in the Houston metro area. This role will focus on acquiring new commercial landscape maintenance contracts with a strong emphasis on Homeowners Associations (HOAs).

The ideal candidate brings a background in sales within commercial serviceslandscape pest control waste management pool maintenance or related facility servicesand has an established network within the HOA management world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify prospect and close new commercial landscape maintenance accounts particularly with HOAs property management firms and residential developers.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers including HOA board members community managers and management companies.

  • Develop and execute territory growth plans to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Conduct site walks and assessments to develop tailored proposals in partnership with estimating and operations teams.

  • Represent the company at industry events networking functions and trade associations.

  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth transition and onboarding of new accounts.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity in CRM and provide regular updates to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of proven sales success in commercial serviceslandscaping pest control pool maintenance waste management janitorial or similar.

  • Established relationships within the Houston HOA and property management community strongly preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a hunter mentality and consultative selling approach.

  • Ability to manage a full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close.

  • Self-motivated organized and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and basic Microsoft Office tools.

  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
