Job Summary
We are looking for a new colleague to join the AI Solutions team at the Ignitis Group Shared Service Center. You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of scalable secure and ethical AI/ML solutions across the Group. As an AI/ML Architect you will shape the AI/ML strategy choose the right technologies and ensure alignment with business goals and IT architecture standards. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Defining and evolving the companys strategy towards AI/ML architecture including agentic AI systems autonomous workflows and the supporting technology roadmap
- Designing end-to-end AI solutions including data pipelines model training deployment and monitoring
- Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to identify AI/ML opportunities and translating them into technical solutions
- Evaluating and selecting AI platforms tools and frameworks (e.g. Azure AI OpenAI Vertex AI etc.)
- Ensuring AI/ML solutions are designed based on best practices are secure compliant and aligned with Enterprise Architecture governance and ethical AI principles
- Guiding and mentoring AI/ML engineers data scientists and developers
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in computer/systems sciences Mathematics Data Science or similar. Masters degree is an advantage
- 2 years of work experience in the role of Architect large-scale software systems Solution Architect IT solution TeamLead or similar senior IT role with focus to AI/ML and data science
- Very strong in systems thinking excellent communication skills ability to present and defend your own ideas and work products of your team as well as challenge decisions of others including C-suite level
- Experience integrating agents with LLMs (e.g. GPT Claude Llama) and embedding models for contextual awareness and building autonomous workflows using AI agents integrated with enterprise systems (e.g. ERP CRM IoT platforms)
- Familiarity with multi-agent system design including agent coordination task delegation and memory management
- Understanding of tool use by agents including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) API calling and plugin-based architectures
- Exposure to event-driven architectures and workflow automation platforms (e.g. Apache Airflow Azure Logic Apps Power Automate)
