Your Career

As the Senior Regional People Business Partner you will be an integral part of the EMEA people team providing expertise in people and organizations to anticipate challenges diagnose problems prescribe actions and lead programs that have a direct impact on the success of the organization. You are an innovative HR professional who is energized by coaching employees and leaders and creating teams that work together and win together. You are comfortable working with any level of employee or manager have a knack at reading a situation navigating sensitivities and finding creative solutions to peoples issues.  This is a dynamic role with responsibility for deploying global people strategies and policies aligned to the local market conditions in Germany and within a works council regulated environment. This role serves as the companys lead for navigating Germanys distinct labor relations landscape fostering a resilient and collaborative workplace built on the principles of Social Partnership.

This is a senior role for which we are looking to hire a strategic HRBP who will be looking to continue their journey in a cutting edge global tech company going through ongoing growth.

Your Impact

  • Provide strategic HR support to all employees in Germany and consults with VPs Directors and Managers in areas of performance management change management and labor relations

  • Steward of our values of integrity and inclusion ensuring our peoples strategies are grounded in respect and transparency. Leverage people analytics and a deep understanding of Germanys labor relations to anticipate issues and bring data-driven insights reflecting our commitment to disruptive execution in a fact-based environment.

  • Implement people practices for client groups that foster innovation and collaboration within one of the worlds most advanced technology organizations working together to fight cyberattacks threatening our way of life in the digital age

  • Take a hands-on approach with focus on  bridging the gap between our global business strategy and the German model of institutionalized labor relations

  • In partnership with business leaders and relevant stakeholders for each topic lead works council negotiations with a focus on problem-solving and consensus-building using a data-driven approach to foster long-term partnerships and collaborative win-win outcomes.

  • Takes project lead on PBP related W/C topics such as Performance Elevation Tools & Processes Pay Planning Department Meetings etc. for example: gathers relevant information from stakeholders for different topics to prepare W/C meetings to inform consult or co-determine on them and contributes to strategy development for those 

  • Coordinates legal assessment in collaboration with internal legal counsel to adhere to labor laws regulations and contract terms. 

  • Contributes to collective bargain agreements docs to support legal counsel

  • Keeps track and overview of relevant topics and timing for W/C involvement


Qualifications :

Your Experience

  • Demonstrated expertise and a nuanced understanding of Germanys legal and institutional labor framework including the Works Constitution Act (Betriebsverfassungsgesetz) and the preparation and participation of challenging negotiations project management and implementation of people topics upon signature of work agreements

  • Relevant experience (5 years) partnering with a German Works Council in an international and matrixed company ideally with a HQ in the US

  • Experience as a strategic consultative HRBP in the EMEA region with the ability to work in a strong growth environment at mid-to-large global companies

  • Critical thinker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prepare and defend positions with factual data and logical arguments with proven and solid problem-solving skills

  • Ability to quickly build strong reciprocal relationships among diverse groups to meet shared objectives using compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment of others

  • In-depth understanding of behavioral science analytics and core disciplines of HR

  • Ability to travel throughout Germany as needed (10-15%)

  • Exceptional active listening and persuasive communication skills with  German English fluency
