Get ready to step up Illawarra! The Balgownie Hotel the legendary Bally and a true icon is on the hunt for a new Assistant Manager to help keep the good times rolling.
This isnt just a job; its your shot to be a part of history and the future of a pub thats been serving cold ones and great grub since 1899 nestled right between the escarpment and the ocean. Were a massive part of the local community known for our kicking bistro live music massive sports coverage and a legendary family vibe.
We dont want a suit and tie; we want a hospitality rockstar to support our Publican and lead the charge in making every shift legendary!
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
- Get to know the locals so well they think youre part of the crew
- Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly safely and with a great vibe
- Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
- Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
- Bring the energy the service and the smiles every single shift
About you:
- Youve been around the bar bistro or gaming room block and maybe already done some supervising
- Youve learned from great managers and now youre ready to step up
- Youve got the confidence pride and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
- Youve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
