Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Kenner United this role you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees visitors and property through vigilant monitoring prompt response to incidents and adherence to security protocols.
- Patrol designated areas on foot or using company-provided vehicles to monitor for suspicious activities safety hazards or security breaches
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations following established procedures and protocols
- Monitor surveillance systems and control access points to maintain facility security
- Conduct regular security checks of buildings grounds and perimeter
- Maintain detailed logs and prepare incident reports documenting all security-related activities
- Manage and control the distribution of keys and access cards
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
- Enforce company security policies and procedures
- Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and concerns
Qualifications :
- Must be at least 21years of age
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform tasks requiring lifting reaching kneeling and bending
- Strong observation and surveillance skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in completing detailed security reports and documentation
- Experience with security monitoring systems and emergency response protocols
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security certifications
- Basic computer skills for report writing and communication
- Previous security experience in a corporate environment preferred
- Must be available to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
