In this busy and interesting role you will work closely with our production to ensure that the most stringent levels of production and food hygiene are met.

You will complete various cleaning tasks as per the agreed schedules and according to the existing procedures.  Help to improve the general housekeeping standards on site and in the yard areas.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain the QA Hold Area in control
• Support the waste management system on site 
• Clean all relevant areas according to hygiene schedules
• Complete regular checks according to procedure
• Report and resolve  any hygiene issues noted across the site and escalate where required.
• Complete corrective actions for cleaning and post-cleaning inspections ensuring work is carried out to the agreed timescale and manner.
• Adherence to training on the correct use of chemicals cleaning equipment and lab consumables.
• Help to maintain the yard clean and free from any rubbish
• Work closely with production teams 

Who You Are

• Previous hygiene experience is desirable but not essential
• Experience in a food manufacturing or fulfilment environment
• Allergen awareness
• Basic IT skills
• Be enthusiastic and conscientious
• Have a proactive approach to Food Safety
• Experience of handling cleaning chemicals
• Good organisational skills.
• A confident and forward thinking team player
• Excellent attention to detail and flexibility

Qualifications :

Food Safety Level 2

COSHH (Desirable)

Working at Heights (Desirable)
