Job Summary

Completes maintenance requests via maintenance ticket system
Observes mechanical devices in operation to identify mechanical breakdown
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove and replace defective parts
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
Installs special functional and structural parts in devices
Repairs electrical equipment
Performs general building maintenance including painting replacing light bulbs replacing filters and maintaining the exterior of the building for safety hazards (ie shoveling identifying trip and fall hazards)
Performs and maintains records for preventative maintenance
Has knowledge of building security and grants after hours building access as requested
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Consistently regularly and predictably at work and on time
Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications :

Education Certifications Licenses & Registrations - Associates degree or equivalent; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
