Are you a seasoned microbiologist ready to take the lead in ensuring the safety and integrity of life-saving pharmaceutical products Join Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories PSS where your expertise will directly support aseptic manufacturing and environmental monitoring at a cutting-edge pharmaceutical facility.
What Youll Do
As the Microbiology Lead youll be at the forefront of quality control guiding a team and overseeing critical microbiological testing in a GMP-regulated cleanroom environment. Your leadership will help ensure that every product meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading environmental monitoring during aseptic operations and media fills using:
- Non-viable particle counters
- Contact plates
- Microbial air samplers
- Overseeing utility sampling (WFI purified water compressed gases) with validated methods
- Reviewing and interpreting microbial data with precision and integrity
- Ensuring accurate documentation in electronic systems
- Escalating deviations or equipment issues promptly
- Maintaining a clean compliant and audit-ready lab environment
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Microbiology Biology or a related field
- 3 years of hands-on experience in a GMP/GLP pharmaceutical setting
- Strong aseptic technique and cleanroom experience
- Proven leadership or supervisory background
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
