JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Demand Chain Routing Analyst is responsible for designing optimizing and maintaining efficient delivery routes that balance service levels cost and operational constraints. They will work with 7-Elevens 3PL partners to improve the last mile route efficiency to our stores. They will develop an understanding of our store network and the requirements for creating a successful route plan. This role involves analyzing transportation data working closely with logistics partners and leveraging routing software to ensure deliveries are timely compliant and cost-effective.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Develop and optimize delivery routes using routing software (e.g. Roadnet Descartes ORTEC Paragon or internal systems).
Analyze transportation costs vehicle capacity driver hours and service requirements to recommend routing strategies.
Maintain routing databases update store/warehouse delivery points and manage route changes.
Interfaces with 3PL partners to gather data and influence outcomes
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations Hours of Service rules and company safety standards.
Prepare regular reporting and presentations for management on routing performance and cost savings.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree or equivalent experience

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 3 years

MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: N/A.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Knowledge of 7-11 proprietary systems controlling order and delivery schedules (preferred) .
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel SQL and/or Python for data analysis.
Experience with routing/transportation management systems preferred.
Familiarity with DOT regulations and driver compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with warehouse fleet and customer service teams.
