Logistics Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically plan and execute end-to-end logistics operations for international shipments across multiple transportation modes (ocean air rail and truck)
- Process and track bookings from origin to final destination proactively resolving any transit delays or documentation issues
- Maintain transportation data in relating system in a timely manner
- Serve as the primary logistics liaison for international project teams across different time zones requiring flexible working hours
- Develop and maintain detailed logistics timelines aligned with critical project milestones conducting risk assessments for potential delays
- Chair weekly supplier performance reviews analyzing KPIs including on-time delivery rates damage frequencies and documentation accuracy
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics processes and reduce cycle times
- Generate comprehensive weekly reports analyzing trends in shipping costs transit times and service disruptions
Required Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics International Business Industrial Engineering or related field
Professional Experience
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in international logistics freight forwarding or supply chain operations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills across multiple formats (email phone video conference in-person)
