About The Position Major Goals and Objectives and Location Requirements:
The Security Manager is responsible for providing leadership strategic vision and tactical
execution for the physical security program at 225 Liberty. This position ensures the protection
of facilities assets and employees by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the security team
coordinating with contractors and maintaining readiness for emergency response. The role also
strengthens People Inc.s capabilities by bringing former law enforcement expertise in-house to
enhance threat response risk mitigation and overall program posture

In-office Expectations: This position is a fully in-office role due to the nature of the work being
done.
About The Team The Team and/or Brand:
The Security team at People Inc. is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees
facilities and assets across all office site locations. The team partners closely with contracted
security staff reception facilities event teams and law enforcement agencies to deliver a
consistent and resilient security program.
About The Positions Contributions:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the 225 Liberty security team including
contracted staff.
Provide direct leadership and accountability to ensure effective coverage preparedness
and program consistency.
Bring law enforcement expertise to strengthen response to high-risk situations including
active assailant incidents.
Support planning and oversight for third-party special events.
Coordinate with vendors to maintain and improve security systems and technology.
Ensure compliance with company security procedures and emergency preparedness
requirements.
Weight % Accountabilities Actions and Expected Measurable Results:
35% Leadership & Oversight: Manage and supervise on-site security staff and
contractors; ensure consistent operational coverage and program posture.
25% Risk & Incident Management: Conduct threat assessments oversee incident
response and maintain readiness for emergencies.
20% Operations & Administration: Oversee scheduling payroll vendor coordination
equipment and reporting.
10% Events & Special Programs: Provide planning oversight and direct support for
third-party and internal events ensuring risk mitigation and safe execution.
10% Training & External Engagement: Develop and conduct security training and
maintain relationships with law enforcement and emergency partners.
The Roles Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Security Management or a related field preferred;
equivalent law enforcement or security leadership experience may be considered.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in security law enforcement or a
related field.
Prior management or supervisory experience overseeing staff or contracted personnel.
Specific Knowledge Skills Certifications and Abilities:
Former law enforcement background skillset.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams in high-pressure environments.
Strong knowledge of physical security operations incident response and emergency
preparedness.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments and
with external partners.
Familiarity with security systems (access control SOC operations surveillance) and
reporting tools.
% Travel Required (Approximate):
5% - 10% (travel for events and inter-office coordination)

Salary: New York: $115000.00 - $130000.00The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Incs total compensation package for employees.
