What this job involves:
As the Meeting Services Lead you will serve as the evening shift leader (following an 11 am to 7:30 pm schedule) while delivering reliable audiovisual and meeting services support in a dynamic corporate environment. This role combines solid technical expertise in meeting room operations with team leadership responsibilities ensuring smooth execution of corporate meetings video conferences and events. You will be proficient with standard AV systems including sound equipment displays and projection systems while guiding team members and maintaining consistent standards of client service. Your leadership and technical skills contribute to JLLs commitment to providing dependable facility experiences that support our clients business objectives.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Lead evening shift operations while operating meeting room AV systems including sound equipment displays projection systems and platforms like MS Teams and Webex for corporate meetings
Coordinate client support for presentations managing slide shows microphone systems and basic video/audio recording requirements
Conduct routine meeting room inspections using mobile technology maintaining AV equipment status records and performing standard maintenance checks
Provide AV troubleshooting and support for video conference rooms escalating complex issues through proper channels while tracking resolution outcomes
Execute meeting room setups including furniture arrangement AV equipment configuration basic cabling and schedule posting while supporting room booking administration
Lead event setup and breakdown activities coordinating tables chairs linens and standard AV installations
Guide evening team members ensure proper break coverage and execute assigned duties while maintaining safety protocols and service standards
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with AV training or relevant experience preferred
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in audiovisual support meeting room operations and basic equipment troubleshooting
Team leadership experience with ability to guide evening shift operations and coach team members
Proficiency with MS Office Suite particularly Excel with ability to complete administrative reports
Physical ability to lift 45 pounds frequently walk buildings/stairs and perform setup/breakdown of meeting furniture and equipment
Strong customer service skills with ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Good organizational abilities with proven capacity to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with corporate meeting room operations and event support
Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (Teams Webex) and room booking systems
Background in event coordination and basic venue management
Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures for standard AV equipment
Experience with inventory management systems and equipment tracking
Previous experience in facility management or corporate meeting services environment
