Assistant Video Editor

We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Video Editor to join our growing team. The Assistant Video Editor will play a key role in helping us create high-quality and engaging video content for our clients. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the video production team to assist in all aspects of video editing including organizing and managing footage creating rough cuts and finalizing edits

- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute video concepts that align with the companys brand and marketing objectives

- Utilize industry-standard software and tools to edit and enhance video content including color correction audio mixing and motion graphics

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure high-quality and innovative video content

- Ensure all video projects are completed on time and within budget

- Maintain organized and efficient file management systems for all video assets

- Assist in the production and management of live video shoots including setting up equipment managing lighting and sound and operating cameras

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Film Video Production or a related field

- 1-2 years of experience in video editing preferably in a corporate or agency setting

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer

- Strong understanding of video production processes including pre-production production and post-production

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus

- Passion for renewable energy and sustainability is a plus
