Purpose of the Post

The candidate will contribute to the delivery of high quality patient care by providing medical physics scientific and technical support to ULHG healthcare professionals.

The post holder will perform the duties expected of a Medical Physicist for x-ray imaging and Nuclear Medicine equipment and ensure that physics related activities are safe of the highest quality and are cost effective. They will liaise closely with the Radiation Protection Advisers (RPA) and Medical Physics Experts (MPE) in the Group.
