About Langs Building Supplies

Langs is renowned for providing whole-of-house building materialsfrom timber and steel trusses to windows doors and hardware. The two manufacturing sites are Yatala or Caloundra providing an option on where to be based. Remote applications will also be considered. Youll be part of a quality team behind estimating detailing and guaranteeing seamless project execution for builders across Queensland and beyond.

Position Overview:

Responsible for preparing accurate and efficient truss and frame designs using MiTek involves interpreting plans and drawings and ensuring all designs meet project specifications structural requirements and company standards.

What Were Looking For to succeed in this role youll need:

• 5 years in manufacturing or construction with a strong background in frame and truss.
• Competence in MiTek Software packages (20/20 Sapphire) or equivalent.
• Understanding or structural and architectural principles related to timber framing.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings specifications and relevant building codes.
• Resilience and Organisation: Capable of managing competing priorities during peak workloads maintaining a calm and organised approach.
