Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to lead the design development and implementation of large-scale electrical distribution systems. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and has a strong foundation in electrical theory and system calculations. Youll work on impactful projects across commercial industrial military and scientific sectors overseeing everything from concept to installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical equipment and systems including controls lighting and large-scale distribution networks.
Perform complex calculations related to electrical distribution on large-scale systems.
Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies to ensure reliability efficiency and safety of proposed designs.
Simulate test and evaluate system performance to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Estimate timelines and budgets for electrical projects.
Review and assess vendor and competitor products to ensure optimal solutions.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to engineering challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents and translate them into practical designs.
Proficiency in creating engineering drawings sketches and calculations.
Experience with design software and engineering-related computer applications.
Detail-oriented and team-focused with the ability to provide mentorship and feedback when needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
57 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
Experience with large-scale electrical distribution systems is strongly preferred.
Professional Engineer () license is not required for this position.
