Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

Operational Delivery:

  • Move and position office furniture and equipment in and around the campus.
  • Assemble and disassemble furniture as required.
  • Carry out basic labelling of assets during moves.
  • Support I.T. teams with safe movement of I.T.-related equipment.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and in line with OHS requirements.
  • Keep storage/workshop areas neat tidy and organised.
  • Take before-and-after photos of completed work for record purposes.
  • Maintain tools in good working order.
  • Report and log all moves and churns activities via the TFS Helpdesk.
  • Undertake inspections of store areas and equipment as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Lead and direct the Moves and Churns Assistant

Service Delivery Management:

  • Ensuring performance requirements are met (SLAs and performance management)
  • Maintain an accurate record of all Move and churns requests actioned.
  • Work with teams to develop and maintain a customer-focused attitude toward activities

Customer Focus:

  • Interact with clients to provide and process information in response to enquiries concerns and requests about services
  • Work with processes and procedures in such a way that operational efficiencies and performance are enhanced
  • Attend to and resolve all client queries timeously or escalate when necessary
  • Follow up and follow through on all escalated queries timeously
  • Manage conflict

Reporting:

Update and maintain all relevant records on a daily to ensure all activity is recorded

Take responsibility for ones own performance
Promote TFSs & Hwaweis image and corporate citizenry through deliberate and co-ordinated activities
Adhere to the TFSs Safety Health Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management Systems Policies & Procedures as applicable to this position
Ensure TFS ethical values are adhered to.
