Staff Software Engineer – Sanofi

• Serve as a technical leader and role model shaping technical direction across multiple engineering teams.
  
• Architect scalable reliable and secure platforms ensuring maintainable and high-performance systems.
  
• Lead initiatives that span teams and domains identifying leverage points that unlock organizational productivity.
  
• Own technical decisions for complex projects balancing pragmatism with long-term excellence.
  
• Drive data-driven decision making and proactively remove delivery blockers.
  
• Champion DevOps principles Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD best practices.
  
• Mentor senior engineers fostering a culture of technical mastery openness and continuous learning.
  
• Collaborate across engineering product and scientific teams to align priorities and outcomes.
  
• Represent engineering in strategic discussions with leadership and external partners.
  

Requirements

• Deep experience in software engineering with a proven record of leading complex technical initiatives.
  
• Strong background in JavaScript / TypeScript with on the backend and React or similar on the frontend.
  
• Expertise in cloud-native systems microservice architectures and API design.
  
• Hands-on experience with AWS GCP or Azure including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform AWS CDK or similar).
  
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines observability and cloud security best practices.
  
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• A growth mindset curiosity and passion for learning and innovation.
  
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
