Paint Preparation Operative
Location: Rural Maidstone
Hours: Monday to Friday - 39 hours/week regular overtime
Sâalary: Â26492.28-Â30105.72 âplus overtime

A leading Manufacturer are looking for a hardworking and reliable individual to join a busy paint preparation team. The role involves preparing components for wet painting through a variety of processes to ensure high-quality finishes.

Main Duties
- Prepare parts for wet painting including drilling filling sanding shot blasting sealing cleaning degreasing and masking.
- Use power tools such as grinders drills and sanders.
- Mask threads and bores to protect from damage and paint ingress.
- Handle and move components through blasting and washing equipment.
- Hang unload and pack painted components safely and efficiently.
- Carry out daily cleaning maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Follow all Health & Safety and environmental procedures including correct use of PPE and waste disposal.

- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable and organised with good time management.
- Physically fit - able to stand for long periods climb steps and handle components safely.
