Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Band 7 Dispensary Pharmacist to join a busy NHS dispensary team in Leeds. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with strong clinical and operational experience in dispensary services looking to make an immediate impact in a dynamic healthcare environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safe efficient and effective dispensing of medications working closely with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and support daily dispensary operations.
Ensure accurate dispensing and labelling of prescriptions.
Provide clinical screening and validation of prescriptions.
Offer expert advice on medicines use and safety.
Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Support stock management and inventory control.

Qualifications and Experience

Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Previous experience working in an NHS dispensary setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
