Part Time Dental Assistant (Thursday's Only) Dental Associates of Florida Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry

Dental Associates of FL -Cosmetic & Implant Surgery is looking for a Part Time Surgical Dental Assistant to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Candidates must have IV sedation experience to be considered. This is for Thursdays only from 7:00-2:00

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms sterilize instruments and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays assist with impressions and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulations..
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification emergency drug and oxygen supply and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program

or

• Six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation)
• X-Ray certification
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with IV sedations

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA HIPAA CPR and infection control training as required by law.
