• Answering phone to respond to all inquiries made by patients vendors insurance companies and other medical facilities.
• Schedule patient appointments as required via telephone calls and written notification to patients.
• Screening and routing patient calls to other departments efficiently ensuring accurate registration.
• Responding to patients questions and needs for editing canceling and re-scheduling appointment as necessary.
• Support and maintain a professional business atmosphere.

• Technical Certificate One-year certificate from business program or technical school or combination of education and experience
• Less than 1 year in customer service call center or medical healthcare setting

• Commitment to the daily application of Averas mission vision core values and social principles to serve patients their families and our community.
• Promote Averas values of compassion hospitality and stewardship.
• Uphold Averas standards of Communication Attitude Responsiveness and Engagement (CARE) with enthusiasm and sincerity.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Work effectively in a team environment coordinating work flow with other team members and ensuring a productive and efficient environment.
• Comply with safety principles laws regulations and standards associated with but not limited to CMS The Joint Commission DHHS and OSHA if applicable.
