Behavioral Health Therapist - Full-Time (LCSW or LPC) East Liberty Family Health Care Center (ELFHCC)
ELFHCC is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Therapist (40 hours/week) to join our growing team of providers committed to delivering high-quality compassionate care to individuals and families across Pittsburghs communities.
Role Overview
The Behavioral Health Therapist provides 1:1 counseling and psychosocial support to patients experiencing mental health challenges including trauma addiction and abuse. Youll also advocate for patients and connect them with essential community resources all within a supportive collaborative care team environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling to patients with diverse behavioral health needs
- Conduct psychosocial assessments covering social cultural and clinical factors
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to patient preferences and needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and referrals
- Maintain regular patient contact to assess progress and evolving needs
- Document care accurately and in compliance with regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Current LCSW or LPC licensure in Pennsylvania required
- Experience with trauma abuse and chemical dependency
- Comfortable working with underserved and diverse populations
- Prior healthcare or community health experience a plus
- Bilingual/Spanish-speaking candidates strongly preferred
Retention Bonus
- $5000 after completion of the first year of tenure
- Additional $5000 awarded after the second year
