Job Summary
Job Title: Afterschool Program Staffer Location: Saint Joseph Elementary School Schedule: MondayFriday 3:00 PM 6:00 PM Type: Part-Time Overview Saint Joseph Elementary School is seeking a caring energetic and responsible individual to join our afterschool team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children in a supportive faith-based environment and wants to make a meaningful impact during the critical afterschool hours. Responsibilities - Supervise and engage students in grades K8 during afterschool hours - Lead and assist with activities such as arts and crafts games homework help and outdoor play - Ensure a safe inclusive and respectful environment for all children - Communicate effectively with parents teachers and fellow staff - Assist with snack distribution and cleanup - Maintain accurate attendance records and incident reports - Uphold school policies and values in all interactions Qualifications - Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage groups of children with patience and positivity - CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) - Must pass a background check and complete required training What We Offer - A welcoming and supportive school community - Opportunities for professional development - Competitive hourly wage - The chance to make a real difference in students lives
