Job Description Summary
Purpose of the Position:As PT Primary & Secondary Field Engineer you hold overall responsibility for the technical planning quality assurance and standardization of all primary and secondary field activities related to the erection and commissioning of complex GIS AIS and transformer substations (PTR).
You serve as the central technical point of contact on-site ensuring the implementation of engineering specifications and supporting customers project managers primary and secondary engineering teams as well as internal and external
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical reference for all matters related to the erection and commissioning of GIS/AIS substations (30kV 550kV) and transformer sites
- Support bid preparation for complex GIS/AIS substations and transformer sites through technical evaluations and risk assessments for E&C
- Plan coordinate and conduct design reviews plausibility checks and approvals of erection and commissioning procedures as well as site logistics for internal factories and external suppliers for complex GIS/ AIS substations and transformer sites as needed
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies (e.g. SF₆-free GIS systems hybrid solutions monitoring systems)
- Participate in fault analysis creation of diagnostic reports for non-conformities and warranty cases.
- Ensure compliance with specifications standards (EHS IEC IEEE local regulations) internal quality requirements and E&C guidelines
Requirements / Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering Power Engineering or equivalent paired with several years of professional experience in the erection and commissioning of high-voltage substations (GIS AIS PTR)
- Solid knowledge of protection and control systems primary and secondary technology and high-voltage installations
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant standards regulations and safety requirements.
- Willingness to undertake extended international project assignments.
- Excellent English skills; additional languages are a plus
