About the Role

Lead IT Solution Designer
Location: Toronto (Onsite 4 days/week) Practice Area: Technology & Engineering

The Role
Were looking for a Lead IT Solution Designer to join our Technology & Engineering practice and play a pivotal role in delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation for a Tier 1 financial institution. Youll work alongside client stakeholders architects and delivery teams to define refine and validate technology solutions that are aligned with business objectives and strategic goals.

What Youll Do

• Own end-to-end solution architecture design from initial concept through delivery for complex financial services platforms

• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions

• Collaborate closely with architects developers and business SMEs to ensure solutions are well-structured integrated and future-proof

• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and technology roadmaps

• Provide technical leadership and governance across the full delivery lifecycle

What Were Looking For

• Proven experience designing end-to-end IT solutions across complex application landscapes

• Strong background in solution design within financial institutions ideally Tier 1 banks

• Hands-on experience with modern architecture paradigms (e.g. microservices event-driven architecture APIs)

• Ability to lead technical discussions with both business and technical stakeholders

• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments

Bonus Points For

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP

• Familiarity with domain-driven design and DevOps best practices

• Understanding of data architecture and data integration patterns

• Exposure to legacy system modernisation initiatives

• Certification in solution or enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF SAFe)
