What your day looks like

You start by reviewing the production schedule and CMMS dashboards then align preventive predictive and project maintenance with operational priorities. Youll author clear work instructions define safety requirements stage parts and materials and coordinate skilled maintenance labor to maximize equipment uptime across the lab.

  • Plan prioritize and schedule planned preventive predictive and project maintenance in sync with production needs.
  • Organize job kitting and documentation: write work instructions specify safety requirements and optimize labor deployment to reduce downtime.
  • Identify and procure parts and materials for planned and PM work orders; submit purchase requests for repair/replacement parts and contracted services.
  • Estimate labor hours for all planned and preventive tasks and adjust plans based on data and line performance.
  • Lead weekly cross-functional meetings with Operations Technical and Maintenance to align priorities and remove roadblocks.
  • Coordinate weekend and other downtime maintenance windows to complete critical work.
  • Create add or update PMs within Megamation and manage scheduling with external contractors for equipment preventive maintenance.
  • Tackle special projects and assume additional responsibilities as needs evolve.

What you bring

  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 3 years in highly automated lean/continuous-flow manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
  • Independent decision maker with strong organizational skills and bias for action.
  • Proactive problem solver able to lead resolution of lab equipment issues.
  • Clear verbal and written communication; effective cross-functional collaborator.
  • Comfort working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime as needed by leadership.
  • Ability to alternate between seated walking or standing work for up to 10 hours.

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of Megamations Computerized Maintenance Management Software planning module and inventory module.
