Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Your Role as Production Supervisor:

• Lead by example promoting a positive and safe work environment for the team.
• Act with a sense of urgency to escalate people safety quality and/or food safety issues.
• Actively demonstrate respect for all people product processes equipment and customers.
• Effectively communicate expectations providing timely feedback on employee performance and taking appropriate action when necessary.
• Assist with facilitating coverage across shifts for PTO and absences. Weekends as needed.
• Ensure adherence to Food Safety & Quality program and all other polices within company handbook.
• Promote and use electronic operations management software to track productivity employee training and other company processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and Area Leaders to ensure proper focus resources and tools are being used to drive positive operational results.
• Facilitate daily pre-shift and mid shift huddles conduct interviews identify areas of opportunity and implement adjustments where needed.
• Identify areas within the team where additional training or leadership presence would be beneficial.
• Hold mid-year and year-end performance discussions with assigned reports.

Skills Required: Proven leadership abilities in a food manufacturing environment. Committed to building a strong team and promoting a positive work environment. Ability to respond quickly to safety and quality concerns. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with employees at all levels. Make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred. 3 years of Supervisory experience required. Previous food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting (up to 50lbs) typing bending twisting climbing and standing.

Work Environment:

• Primarily in a bakery manufacturing setting including refrigerated or frozen areas.
