Employment & Labor Associate Attorney – Northern California

A leading national firm is seeking an Employment & Labor Associate Attorney with 2 6 years of experience to join its dynamic and collaborative practice serving high-profile clients across northern California.

Offices include San Francisco Palo Alto Silicon Valley and Sacramento.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will handle a broad range of employment and labor matters including:

• Employment litigation and complex commercial disputes involving single- and multi-plaintiff cases in federal and state courts arbitration and administrative proceedings.

• Wage and hour discrimination wrongful termination retaliation and class or representative (PAGA) actions.

• Employment counseling on compliance policies investigations and day-to-day HR issues.

• Drafting and reviewing employment separation confidentiality and related agreements.

• Taking and defending depositions preparing discovery responses drafting pleadings arguing motions and participating in mediations or settlement conferences.

Qualifications

• 2 6 years of relevant employment and labor law experience (litigation and/or counseling).

• Strong academic credentials and exceptional legal writing analytical and interpersonal skills.

• Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.

• Demonstrated ability to manage matters independently while collaborating within a team.

• Experience advising or litigating for clients in the technology venture capital or life-sciences sectors is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $210000 $390000 (depending on experience qualifications and location).
