Lift Surveyor
UK-wide travel required Up to 45000 DOE Company Vehicle Fuel Card
Working on behalf of a market leader in bespoke lift interiors
Im working with a specialist lift interiors company with a fantastic reputation for high-quality craftsmanship and design. Theyre now looking to add a Lift Surveyor to their growing team to help meet increasing demand across the UK.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in lift surveying carpentry shop fitting or construction who takes pride in accurate work and enjoys a role thats hands-on and mobile.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting precise lift car surveys at sites across the UK. This includes:
- Taking accurate internal and external lift measurements using manual and electrical tools
- Completing clear and detailed hand-drawn surveys
- Identifying lift materials (wood metal etc.) to support the design and manufacturing process
- Accurately completing and submitting paperwork
- Adhering to travel and site procedures
This role involves extensive UK travel (including overnight stays when required) so candidates must be comfortable with regular driving.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in the lift industry or background in carpentry/shop fitting/construction (ideal)
- Strong attention to detail and confidence using measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel extensively and stay overnight as needed
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Bonus Skills/Certs (Desirable):
- EOR202N
- CSCS card
- CAD or SolidWorks experience
