We are seeking a Quality Business Analyst who will serve as a key resource for managing integrating and visualizing data across multiple business systems including ERP and operational platforms. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop insights and tools that support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is hands-on with modern analytics technologies such as Tableau Power BI and Power Apps and has strong skills in SQL and data automation.

• This position is working onsite at either our Foley AL San Marcos Texas Riverside CA or Chula Vista CA facility.

What You Will Do

• Manage integrate and visualize data from ERP and other enterprise systems to support organizational objectives.
• Collect clean and manage large datasets from various sources including manufacturing engineering and supplier quality systems.
• Extract transform and maintain data to ensure accuracy consistency and reliability across systems.
• Develop and maintain SQL scripts data pipelines and automated workflows to enhance reporting efficiency.
• Design build and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau Power BI Power Apps or Qlik Sense to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends root causes of quality issues and areas for improvement.
• Translate business and operational requirements into actionable insights and data visualizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including digital technology engineering manufacturing quality and supply chain to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Develop and deliver executive-level reports and visuals to support leadership decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation to ensure data integrity transparency and accessibility.
• Participate in on-site and virtual meetings to review data communicate findings and drive data-informed discussions.
• Provide ongoing technical support maintenance and optimization for developed dashboards tools and data systems.
• Continuously evaluate and improve data management processes by adopting emerging technologies and best practices in analytics and visualization.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
• Experience in data management and manipulation including advanced SQL.
• Data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI Looker Power Applications).

Qualifications We Prefer

• Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science Statistics Engineering or Mathematics (or experience equivalent).
• Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g. Python R Minitab).
• Experience communicating with the ability to convey complex data and analytical insights to non-technical audiences in a clear and actionable manner
• Familiarity working with ERP systems and enterprise data sources
• Experience in product production environments
• Experience working in a manufacturing or aerospace environment

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD - 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
