We are seeking a highly skilled Protection Engineer with strong expertise in Power Systems to join a leading engineering consultancy. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing implementing and maintaining protection schemes to ensure the safe and reliable operation of power networks.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement protection systems for high- and medium-voltage power networks.
Perform system studies relay settings and coordination analysis.
Conduct fault analysis and recommend protection improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver technical solutions on time.

Requirements:

BEng degree in Electrical Engineering (essential).
Proven experience in protection engineering within the power systems sector.
Strong knowledge of protection relays SCADA systems and grid codes.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
