smartdept. is searching for a Part-Time Sales Associate for a creative agency client located in Ontario Canada. The ideal candidate will have previous sales or business development experience preferably in the creative or digital industries. This is apart-time onsite/hybrid opportunity requiring 2025 hours per week with a compensation structure of 10% commission on new business.
The Sales Associate will focus on generating new business leads supporting social media initiatives and representing the company at networking events and in-person meetings. The role is perfect for someone who is driven outgoing and tech-savvy with a knack for building relationships and leveraging digital tools.
What Youll Do:
- Proactively source engage and qualify new business leads to grow the client base
- Attend in-person networking events and meetings (must be able to drive and travel within Ontario)
- Collaborate with the team to execute outreach strategies via LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other platforms
- Support social media presence especially Instagram and LinkedIn by sharing insights and promoting the brand
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity using Notion Slack Outlook and Google Suite
- Represent Deadline Creative in a professional enthusiastic manner both online and offline
What Youll Need:
Education/Experience:
- Previous sales business development or account management experience (creative/digital industry preferred)
- Resident of Ontario Canada with reliable transportation.
- Proficiency with Notion Slack LinkedIn Sales Navigator Outlook Google Suite and Instagram
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience attending or coordinating networking events
- Creative industry background or passion for marketing/design
- Familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools
