Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Sterile Supply Technician for an exciting job in Syracuse NY.

Key Responsibilities

Perform decontamination cleaning disinfection and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
Assemble and inspect both complex and simple surgical sets to ensure completeness and functionality.
Operate sterilization and decontamination equipment including steam sterilizers Steris and Sterrad systems.
Monitor and record sterilization cycles and decontamination processes in accordance with department and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy reliability and safety standards are met.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment following aseptic and infection control procedures.
Respond promptly to urgent or emergent requests from clinical and surgical teams.
Assist in equipment maintenance and inventory control of sterile supplies.

Qualifications

Must have successfully completed a nationally accredited Central Service Technician exam and hold certification as a Central Service Technician OR have a minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a Central Service Technician in a healthcare facility.
