Data & AI Software Engineering Intern

The Red Hat Data & AI team is looking for interns who are ready to join us in Bangalore India. Mission of the team is to drive digital-first execution to transform Red Hat using Data & AI.

The focus for Red Hats Internship Program is a dual partnership between the early talent team and our managers. We can offer you professional development social engagement and networking performance and development and meaningful work at Red Hat.

What you will do:

• The ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience in the development of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence systems as well as a background in computer science and mathematics.

• They should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Demonstrate creativity resilience and enthusiasm while collaborating with other engineers and product developers to design and develop advanced AI Solutions

• Work closely with your mentor and gain experience on the technical side and you will be interacting with a broader team both locally and globally.

What you will bring:

• Working toward a Degree or higher in Computer Science Data Science AI or equivalent technical-related field

• Highly motivated with the ability to work in a technical environment

• Enthusiastic about Data Science AI/ML field

• Understanding of database systems

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python/ Golang/ Java/ C/ C

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration

• Ability to quickly learn and interact with new software applications

• Strong creative problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work full-time hours from January - July 2026 during internship
