Job Summary

Qualifications
Masters degree in education public history library science cultural studies or a related field required. Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. Experience with community engagement education or programming in a library museum or archival setting. Strong communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with the preservation and handling of archival materials and rare books. Ability to collaborate with diverse groups and adapt programs to community needs.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Long Island and New York history preferred. Experience with digital storytelling technologies. Proficiency in a second language and experience working with multilingual communities.
