Job Summary
POSITION TITLE: Therapist/LPHA
DEPARTMENT: Casa Raphael
REPORTS TO: Clinical Supervisor

FLSA: Full-Time and Part-Time available Non-Exempt
Therapist/LPHA in collaboration with the Director of Alcohol and Drug Services Case Managers and Substance Abuse Counselors will be responsible for case management mental health assessment provide group and individual counseling and develop an individual treatment plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Treatment 80%
- Develop record and monitor (weekly basis) clients Individual Treatment Plans to ensure progress toward clients treatment;
- Conduct Mental Health screenings and assessments;
- Facilitate co-occurring treatment groups;
- Provide crisis intervention; and
- Provide clinical support to alcohol and drug counselors.
Administration 10%
- Maintain appropriate documentation regarding the clients progress services received in individual resident case files; and
- Coordinate and schedule appropriate client services with internal and external entities to meet clients needs and treatment goals.
Reporting & Compliance 10%
- Complete and submit time-sensitive reports to referring entities and/or agents; and
- Ensure compliance with organization contractual local state and federal mandates including confidentiality laws.

- Frequent standing walking reaching lifting and stooping; and
- Exposure to moderate to loud noise level.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to follow policies and procedures as established in the Companys Employee Handbook. Candidates will also contribute to a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a manner such that they get along with all constituent groups co-workers and management.
In addition the education experience and other skills listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities required.
EDUCATION
- Masters in Social Work Counseling or LCSW or MFT required.
CERTIFICATIONS
- CAARR and/or CAADAC certification preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 3 - 5 years in case management mental health dual diagnosis and substance abuse fields.
KEY SKILLS SET
- Excellent verbal and written communication;
- Bilingual skills of any language particularly Spanish preferred;
- Substance abuse treatment experience in a group setting preferred;
- Strong critical thinking when making a treatment plan; and
- Strong ability to actively listen.
EQUIPMENT AND APPLICATIONS
- High proficiency in MS Office including Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint and Clarity; and
- Working knowledge of all standard office equipment.
