Full Stack Developer

As part of our dynamic web development team the successful candidate will contribute to both front-end and back-end development efforts in support of Mitels next-generation cloud-based applications. This role is ideal for a passionate developer with a foundation in modern web development and a strong desire to grow their expertise in user interface design cloud services and software engineering practices.

Front-End Focus

Working closely with UX designers and product managers this candidate will help translate user experience designs into functional and responsive UI components. A strong interest in usability visual consistency and iterative improvement is key. Prior experience with Angular or similar frameworks is an asset and enthusiasm for learning and implementing new technologies is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement web features using Angular 19 and Typescript

• Contribute to backend services using RESTful APIs

• Participate in team-based design discussions and code reviews

• Assist with writing automated unit and end-to-end tests

• Contribute to documentation (technical design implementation notes)

• Learn and work within CI/CD pipelines and Agile software development (Scrum or Kanban)

• Collaborate across teams with product managers QA and DevOps

• Embrace mentorship from senior engineers to continuously grow technical skills

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Information Systems or a related field.

• Good experience with development using HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript Angular and TypeScript.

• Ability to work with Git (branching pull requests merge conflicts etc.) and other project management tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence).

• Good verbal and written English communication and capable of working in Agile/Scrum teams participating in sprint planning standups and reviews.

• Ability to analyze systems and processes identify issues and propose technical solutions with good knowledge of IT infrastructure (Networking databases cybersecurity).
