Job Summary

Papillion La Vista Community Schools - Electrician/Alarm Technician

Description:

This position requires a dependable and reliable individual responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on all district electrical equipment. The role includes responding to electrical outages power-related issues and any other emergency service needs across district buildings and Kids Club facilities as assigned by the maintenance supervisor. This position requires ability to read and use information obtained from written sources visual displays and measuring devices. Ability to receive and process verbal information and to respond to non-verbal sounds. Ability to detect job-related information based on sensory perceptions (touch and ordor) and ability to make independent job related decisions with little or no supervision.

Additional duties include maintaining and servicing athletic lighting and equipment ensuring proper operation of electrical systems for district irrigation systems and operating snow removal and ice control equipment in accordance with the districts snow removal policy.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Dipolma Industrial Maintenance Degree or Technical School Equivalent.
Certification:Valid State of Nebraska Journeyman Electrical License
Experience: Minimum of four years experience in Building Maintenance or Electical Field Service

District Benefits:

Hourly Rate $ 36.08
Monday - Friday - Full Time/ 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
