Position Description for Superintendent for Gilbert Public Schools Gilbert Arizona
The Gilbert Public School District Gilbert Arizona Governing Board is seeking a highly qualified and certified Superintendent. The Board wishes to have the successful candidate assume the responsibilities of the position no later than July 1 2026.
McPherson & Jacobson L.L.C. Executive Recruitment and Development has been engaged as the consultant in a search for outstanding candidates. They will assist the governing board in identifying and screening the candidates.

Location: Gilbert Arizona is located in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area

The candidate must have the background skills and abilities essential for excellence in educational leadership. The board recognizes that selecting a superintendent is one of the most important decisions it will make.

- Inspirational leadership skills that empower others to perform at their highest level
- Excellent communication skills emotional intelligenceand an open honest and transparent leadership approach
- Evidence of being a builder of community that strengthens district and community trust and support
