Guy Carpenters North American Strategic Advisory is seeking candidates for the following position.

What can you expect

Support GC broking operations by performing the catastrophe risk analytics necessary for reinsurance evaluation decision-making and placement.
To act in an advisory fashion directly with our clients in a wide range of areas.
Develop a broad set of skills in risk management and the reinsurance industry.

We will count on you to:

Perform a wide range of catastrophe modeling projects.
Act as the catastrophe risk expert as part of our account teams.
Be a client advisor in areas such as catastrophe risk management underwriting support pricing adequacy and reinsurance decision-making.
Act as a mentor/advisor to junior colleagues.

What you need to have:

10 years of experience with various catastrophe models.
Knowledge of data storage and manipulation tools such as MS SQL Alteryx Python R etc.
Ability to lead the catastrophe analytics as a part of a client account team.
Fundamental knowledge of the reinsurance industry.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $110000 to $235000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience skills training location certifications and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case addition to the base salary this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. Office-based teams will identify at least one anchor day per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $150000 to $250000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience skills training location certifications education and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case addition to the base salary this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
