Job Summary

Owns the development implementation assessment and support of one or more components of an environment application or platform.
Independently develops clean maintainable testable code for work assigned; performs peer code reviews.
Participates in the overall health performance and availability and actively works resolution of system and client experience impacts for one or more environments applications or platforms.
Embraces mentorship and training from senior engineers.
Provides continuous improvement ideas to reduce expenses and/or improve efficiency.
Applies recommended information security standards when developing code and seeks to validate.
Assesses the technical viability of new and emerging products and technologies
Contributes to technical documentation specifications and project artifacts for developing code
Identifies potential standards and best practices.

Required Skillset (Minimum 2 Years of Experience)

Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience and proficiency in the following areas:

Java Strong object-oriented programming skills and backend development experience.
React Building dynamic responsive front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
HTML/CSS Developing accessible standards-compliant and visually appealing user interfaces.
Git Proficient in version control workflows including branching merging and pull requests.
RESTful APIs Designing consuming and integrating RESTful web services for scalable application development.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or familiarity with the following technologies is a plus:

CI/CD Exposure to automated build test and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLabs.
SQL Writing and optimizing queries for relational databases such as SQL Server.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71000.00 - $122000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors including but not limited to skills experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $90000.00 to $100000.00 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
